Private ski transfer from Lyon Airport (LYS) to Les Menuires, Saint-Martin-de-Belleville & Reberty.
Fixed price · Trois Vallées access · Ski bags free · Winter-certified drivers.
The transfer from Lyon to Les Menuires covers 225 km from Lyon Airport via the A43 motorway and the Tarentaise valley road, arriving in approximately 2 hours 45 minutes. Les Menuires sits at 1,850m in the Belleville valley — the entry point to the Trois Vallées, the world's largest interconnected ski domain with over 600 km of marked runs shared with Méribel, Val Thorens, and Courchevel.
Les Menuires is the domain's best-kept secret: a full Trois Vallées ski pass at a fraction of the accommodation cost of Courchevel or Méribel. Families in particular have discovered that staying in Les Menuires or the adjacent hamlet of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville provides the same ski terrain as the world's most famous resort — at prices that make a week on the slopes financially realistic.

Les Menuires was purpose-built in 1964 as part of France's "Plan Neige" programme — a series of high-altitude ski resorts designed to be entirely snow-sure and ski-in ski-out. At 1,850m, it sits higher than either Méribel (1,450m) or Courchevel 1650 — which means more reliable snow, faster access to the glacier terrain above, and a more consistent ski season from December to April.
The resort's main village has undergone significant renovation from its original brutalist 1960s architecture, but it retains its no-nonsense character: this is a resort where people come to ski, not to be seen. The lift system connects directly with Val Thorens (the highest resort in the Alps at 2,300m) and Méribel, giving immediate access to the entire Trois Vallées domain of over 600 km of runs and 179 lifts.
Five kilometres below Les Menuires in the Belleville valley sits Saint-Martin-de-Belleville — one of the most genuinely charming traditional Savoyard villages in any ski area in France. Unlike purpose-built neighbours, Saint-Martin grew organically around a 17th-century Baroque church and a cluster of stone farmhouses, and has retained its original character through careful planning restrictions.
A gondola connects Saint-Martin directly to the Les Menuires lift system in approximately 12 minutes — which means you get the authenticity and quieter atmosphere of a traditional village while retaining full Trois Vallées access. Accommodation here is often 20 to 30% cheaper than in Les Menuires village itself, and the village restaurant scene — anchored by René Meilleur's Michelin two-star La Bouitte — punches well above its weight.
Reberty 2000 and Les Bruyères are two quieter hamlets above Les Menuires main village, offering ski-in ski-out chalets at higher altitude with direct access to the wide open runs above. They are popular with chalet operators and private villa rentals — and we serve them at the same flat rate as Les Menuires village. Many of our transfers terminate at specific chalets in these hamlets rather than at the main village centre.
The Trois Vallées is the world's largest interconnected ski domain — 600 km of marked runs, 179 lifts, and terrain from beginner slopes at 1,400m to black runs at 3,230m above Val Thorens. From Les Menuires, the full domain is accessible: Val Thorens is 15 minutes by lift, Méribel 20 minutes, and Courchevel 1850 approximately 45 minutes of skiing through the valleys.
The lift pass is the same price regardless of which resort in the domain you are based in — which makes Les Menuires the economically rational choice for skiers who want maximum terrain at minimum accommodation cost.
Lyon Airport is 225 km from Les Menuires — the same access corridor as for Val Thorens and Méribel, via the A43 and the Tarentaise valley. Many skiers targeting the Trois Vallées choose Lyon over Geneva because of lower flight prices, particularly from UK and Irish departure airports. The transfer time (2h45) is competitive with the Geneva equivalent (approximately 2h15) once you factor in the additional airport processing time at Geneva.
From Lyon Airport to Les Menuires takes approximately 2 hours 45 minutes via the A43 motorway and the Tarentaise N90. Saturday changeover traffic near Moûtiers can add 20 to 30 minutes. We monitor conditions before every departure and depart earlier on Saturdays as standard.
Yes. Saint-Martin-de-Belleville (1400m), Reberty 2000, Les Bruyères, and Brelin are all served at the same fixed rate as Les Menuires village. We deliver to any address in the Belleville valley — chalet driveway, hotel entrance, or apartment building.
Yes. Les Menuires is directly linked by ski lift to Val Thorens and Méribel, giving access to over 600 km of marked runs across the full Trois Vallées domain. Val Thorens is 15 minutes by lift, Méribel 20 minutes, and Courchevel reachable through the valley.
Yes — ski bags, snowboard bags, boot bags, and helmets all travel free in every vehicle. Tell us the number of ski sets when booking and we confirm the correct vehicle.
Yes — Les Menuires is widely regarded as the best-value Trois Vallées base. The lift pass and ski terrain are identical to Courchevel or Méribel, but accommodation, restaurants, and ski hire are significantly less expensive. For family groups the saving over a week can be substantial.
Yes. We operate 365 days a year at the same fixed price. Christmas, New Year, February half-term, and Easter carry identical rates — no holiday surcharges.
Yes. Book both legs together and save 5%. For Saturday changeover departures, we recommend pickup at least 3h30 before your flight — the Tarentaise valley is busy on Saturday mornings and we build in buffer time as standard.
